Get Ashland on the map as one of the most LGBT-friendly towns on the west coast. It’ll be easy and fun to help out by marching in the Pride Parade with Love Revolution on October 13.
The theme of the parade is “Free to Be You and Me”, which is a song very close to my (Brenda’s) heart as I used to sing it to my son.
I think everyone deserves the right to run free and be themselves, but you might be surprised to hear how many gay citizens fear for their life or health if they live openly in little ‘ol Rogue Valley.
Please show your support by joining the Love Revolution float – we’ll have music blasting from a truck for everyone to dance down the street to. Wear your wildest, most “inspired” clothes or costumes or just come as you are. Arrive at the lineup at 10am to get fitted with some funky Baci eyelashes. We start marching/dancing at 11:00am. Will you join me?
We’ll meet at the corner of Main St at Union – it’s a block south of the Library. Email us with any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
