Medicine of the Feminine
Come for an evening discussion on a new paradigm of women’s health care that takes into account our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies—and how all aspects of us need tending for vibrant health and well-being.
Currently our ‘well-woman’ care is based upon diagnostic testing, and diagnostic testing is not health care. Health care is first and foremost preventative in nature—and diagnostic and curative when need be.
In the United States:
~33% of women have C-section births
~One in three women over the age of 60 will have a hysterectomy
~One in 8 women will experience breast cancer
In this class:
- Learn the anatomy and physiology of our feminine landscape.
- Learn self-care techniques that can immediately and effortlessly be incorporated into our daily lives.
- Discover your physiologic design as a woman in regards to the pelvic floor and whether ‘Kegels’ and other pelvic floor exercises are serving or hurting you.
- Experience a meditation to connect with your womb and pelvic bowl – sourcing your innate wisdom within.
This class is appropriate for women from menarche through menopause and beyond. Questions welcomed!
