On September 18 at 7pm a dozen people who employ a controversial and sometimes prohibited healing modality are taking their work public.
These courageous and dedicated Rogue Valley healers will speak from their hearts and experience about the principles and variety of practices of a notorious and often misunderstood ancient path to healing and enlightenment:
21st century culture perpetuates sex-negative images and beliefs (advertising, pornography, etc). Tantra is a 5000 year-old, grass-roots therapeutic movement that uses pleasure and sensuality to heal emotional injury and support enlightenment.
In this world where so much of our experience is virtual, where friendship is marked in quantity rather than quality, those ways-of-being that invite body-mind awareness, that bring us definitively into the present moment, that encourage meaningful connection and intimacy, become increasingly vital for equitable survival.
This public forum takes place Wednesday, September 18, 2013, 7:00pm, at 111 E. Main St, Ashland, OR.
It is a free public event.
